A first year: the closing that launched COMIMa

COMIMa has wrapped up its very first year. Throughout the year, the club held sessions every two weeks at Lycée Moderne Ampefiloha (LMA), bringing together students from several Antananarivo high schools: LMA, LJJR, LJF and Saint-Michel Amparibe.
A successful first experience
Despite the difficulties — limited resources, an organisation to build from scratch, timetables to reconcile — this first experience was a success. Week after week, a core of motivated students formed around the joy of searching, failing and trying again, until tasting the satisfaction of a beautiful solution.
What comes next
The path ahead is already set: opening branches in other regions of Madagascar, so the adventure is no longer limited to the capital. The goal remains the same — to train our best students to a level worthy of the great international competitions: the Pan-African Olympiad (PAMO), the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and others.
Beyond the medals, COMIMa wants to pass on a mindset: the taste for challenge in their favourite subject, mathematics.
